April serves as the Director of the Jackson/Teton County Affordable Housing Department. She was previously a program officer with the LOR Foundation and in that role was in charge of its Northern Rockies portfolio, which included community development, land conservation, and transportation initiatives. April grew up in South Carolina, attended Clemson University earning a degree in political science and economics, prior to moving west to Jackson Hole. Today, when not searching for answers to Jackson’s workforce housing shortage, she can be found spending time with her two young children, husband, and dog, enjoying the vast outdoor amenities available in Teton County and enthusiastically cheering on her beloved Tigers.
